Kanuma (2914)

Kanuma - bonsai soil, is a fired clay in the form of granules from 1 to 9 mm, produced in Japan.
It is lighter in weight than Akadama and has a more acidic pH of 4-6, so it is well suited for acidophilic
plants which prefer acidic soil, such as azaleas, camellias, orchids and rhododendrons.
It retains moisture well, while at the same time does not allow water to stagnate. After watering,
the light yellow granules become darker, which helps to assess the degree of soil humidity.

It contains practically no nutrients, so regular fertilization is necessary.
Before use, the soil should be removed from the dust.
