Coal obtained from coconut skin. Environmentally friendly material.
Properties:
- enriches the soil with nutrients;
- helps to clean the soil from toxins;
- promotes rooting of seedlings and cuttings;
- has antibacterial properties;
- improves soil structure, making it more friable;
- retains moisture and nutrients;
- increases aeration of the root system.
The addition to the basic substrate should not be more than 10%.
Charcoal produced from hardwood trees has similar properties, but to a lesser extent. Small fractions and coal dust become mud when wet, bringing more bad than good to the soil.
Coal from coniferous trees, as well as charcoal intended for cooking barbecues, pressed, stone coal is not suitable for growing plants
