Containers

In bonsai art, the shape of the container, its color and the material from which it is made play an important role. These traditions have developed historically.
They are mostly:
- Inexpensive plastic working containers for growing, they are not intended for tree decoration, display or participation in exhibitions;
- clay unglazed containers and pots have better water and air permeability, but require more frequent watering;
- colored clay glazed and earthenware containers, which are mostly used for flowering bonsai.
